4L80 HELP!

Need some help here, Truck is 92 CC Dually 454 4l80 stock trans cooler with aftermarket cooler inline. Mileage 47,000 Went to the store this morrning and this thing would not shift out of 1st gear, drove it last night and all was fine, any thoughts !

ya well the filter could be plugged but not likely if it worked the next day but it also could b an electrical problem stupid 480 i always liked the 700r4 no electronics
