Air Bag Light On

Hello guys,

 

I searched all of the message forums I visit and could not find the answer to my concern. My air bag light now stays ON on my 1999 Sierra SLT, after I installed the HD cluster. I read that on '99 models this will happen, I also vaguely remember a post (can't find it now) that said something about trimming a solder connection in the cluster to turn it off. What needs to be done to make that air bag light function as normal? I hate things not working how they are supposed, so this really bugs me.

 

On a side note, I really love the new trans gauge, it was a very simple install and I am happy with it.

Are all of the Yellow SRS plugs in tight?
