Need help with bodyside moldings for chevy 1500

I emailed GMpartsdirect but haven't received an answer to this question. I want to purchase bodyside molding for my Husbands 2004 1500 work truck which came through without bodyside moldings. Because he only wants OEM equipment I wanted to make sure that I order the correct items. Can someone tell me if these are the correct numbers for the parts. I don't want the moldings around the wheel wells just the door and the bed to the front of the back wheel. This is a reg. cab 8 ft bed. NOT the z11. Any help I would be greatful. Sami

If he is somewhat handy, I would recommend just buying a strip of the molding, and cutting it to fit.

 

It's a heck of a lot cheaper, and there is even enough on a roll to do the bedsides (the factory doesn't put it there, even if it should).

 

Penn Industries sells it by the roll. Last time I called, it was $45 for a roll long enough to do my entire ex-cab short box. The stuff matches factory trim exactly, but you have to cut it to fit yourself. Still a LOT cheaper than buying the individual pieces from a stealership.

 

Just call or email them and tell them what you need, they are usually a really great bunch of folks to deal with.
