Adding cruise 03and up

I just added cruise to my 04 really easy to do because these trucks are throttel by wire all you need is the turn signal switch with cruise button, heres the tricky part, if you truck doesn't have the harness (mine didn't) you have to make one up

heres the info you need

 

factory lever 52 pin connector

A pink A2 pink

B gray B32 gray/white or gray

C blue B1 gray/ black

D black B10 dark blue

 

Thats how you need to hook it up, mine works prefectly

just thought I pass this on and get it on here so at least its archived

I had a lot of trouble finding this info so maybe it will help someone else

buy the way the switch is about $140 from the dealer but you can get them cheaper on ebay

Could you list step by step how you made the harness? Did you solder etc etc etc. I bought the same kit on Saturday and couldn't find a factory 4 pin male adapter. I'm not even sure where the 52 pin connector is... I'm eletrically chanllenged.

you can also buy the harness from gm direct. I will try to get the part nuber this week. I posted this on thedieselplace but I have yet to get all the part numbers.

Please post the P/N for that factory connector harness. I bought a CC unit from eBay, but I don't want to solder anything to the 52 pin connector (warranty reasons) When I get the harness, I can plug everything in and enjoy cruise control!
