4L60E Transmission question

Hey Guys, (and gals)

How hard is it to replace the rear seal, by the output shaft to replace? It's drips a couple of drops a night on the garage floor, and if I park on a slight incline it will drip a little more.

to replace the seal on rear of the transmission/ transfer case isn't too difficult. set your parking brake, unbolt the rear u-joint, remove the drive shaft, pry out the old seal and drive in the new one, reinstall the drive shaft, when installing the new seal, don't pound directly on the seal, find something that fits the outer metal ring of the seal (maybe a large socket, or piece of pipe) and use it to drive it into the seal opening.
