Steering

I have an Chevy 03' 1500HD Crewcab. When I'm pulling in and out of my driveway, I hear a clicking noise coming from the front end during low speeds. Its not the CV Joints. Just wondering if anyone else has had this same problem and is there a remedy? The dealership just lubes of the front end which usually takes care of the problem for a few days.

I had the same problem only when I turned. I'd hear a rattling noise and the steering wheel felt like there was a lot of play in it up and down. I bought a '01 Z71 that was a certified used vehicle and came with a 3month warranty. I took it in to get the steering serviced and they wanted to charge me to fix it. I argued with them about their lousy certification process if something like that wasn't repaired as part of the certification. Anyway, they finally gave in and fixed it under the warranty. It took 2 months for the shaft to get in. After it was installed... OMG the difference is amazing. No more slop in the steering.
