TBar question I havent seen

I've checked out all the TB Key questions I've ran across, but here's one that I havent seen. I know the Ford keys are the "choice" ones for 1500 GM's. A friend of mine with a 04 Avalanche just put Ford keys on his truck. He had green keys from the factory. What would I gain if anything from putting his green keys in my 96 Z71?

The green keys wouldn't do anything for you, they should be the same as what have stock. Those green keys would add some lift to the 2500's
