315-70/17's?

This sounds crazy, but I saw a new 1500 Ext Cab Z-71 with some BIG BFG AT tires on the factory 17in wheels-bigger than the 285's. The only thing I can figure is that they were the 315-70/17's that come on the H2's. It didn't appear to have a lift on it, but the torsion bars were definantly turned up.

 

Has anyone seen anything like this-or is it even possible without having some serious clearance problems in the front fender wells?? The truck looked awesome, that's for sure!
