How do u know what gm parts has to offer? i want a new chrome grill like u mentioned and maybe a diffrent hood or something.... DO u call for like a catalog or something or what? I would like something good to come out of this wreck. Thankx!~

I just went down to the chevy dealer where the truck was being repaired and discussed it with the guy in charge of the body shop.  Then we both went down to the parts guy and talked to him about what they had available.  Chevy doesn't make the cowl hoods and the chevy guy told me that they would only do GM parts.  I think he was feeding me a line of bull**** because it would be more work for them.  But, if you want to upgrade to a denali front end as someone had mentioned I'm sure that you could have them order those parts as well and just pay the difference.
