2002 silverado hd lt arm rest

the leather or vynal on arm rest is cracked how to replace arm rest or do they sell skins to cover over old arm rest thank you for input

I had a local guy recover mine. He did pretty good. The stiching doesn't match the other one exactly but you can't tell. I think it cost me like $25.

Unfortunately, my center arm rest doesn't hinge down. So i wouldn't know what your talking about.

 

I wonder if i could take that backrest out and replace it with a hinged one??? Does anyone know of a backrest like this (factory though)?
