Explain this Burb

Someone explain this Burb I saw today, It had a SS type front end 03+ and the tail lights where new style, same as a truck. color was Black. new type roof rack and mirrors.

This thing looked NEW, Clean all over even under it, It was at a school, the guy was droping off his kids, this did not look like a conversion

I wish I had a pic.

I know that in Mexico Burb's switched front ends I believe the same time as the Silverados. You can check out GMs Mexico website. I see your from Texas, so that woudln't be out of the ordinary to see someone who moved from Mexico. Thats my guess.

If the front end is wiped out or if the guy has money to blow, the front end could be easily changed out. Just hood, fenders, and the front clip. Or OUMike said, it could be a transplant from Mexico.

Thanks, But would the tail lights be the same as the trucks, this one had the new ones. and by the way the guy was white. so not sure if he bought it or not

Should be a Mexican one. I saw a black one at the resort my wife and I stayed at outside of Cancun last Sept. Pretty sharp looking.

yea...personally I really don't like the new look Silverados..but I think its kinda classy on the Suburban for a reason

I went thru the site It looks simalar but this one had truck style tail lights and a SS type front end and side moldings, (No Trim on the sides) looks like the pic but all black

That thing looks silly with the front end like that and the back end resembling that of the truck!! I sure hope they don't try to sell that thing here in the USA, I'd have to add it to my list of Ugly Vehicles right next to the VW Bug and 96 Ford Taurus!
