Brake problems

The thing about ABS is, most people are so used to pumping the brakes and with ABS, it does the pumping for you.  Pumping with ABS doesn't give it a chance to properly engage.  Took me quite awhile to get used to that driving on snow and ice!!   :)

I'm not sure but it sounds like the same thing mine is doing and I no longer think its the ABS kicking in,  I posted this question a couple of days ago and someone said to check the brake fluid level and possibly to flush out the old fluid and replace with new.  As my fluid is still good and the truck (believe it or not )is still on warranty I'm going to have the dealer check it out .  I'll let you know what I find out.  Itook the work truck out  and pounded on the brakes so I now know what the ABS feels like and this aint it.  I'll be brakeing in a normal manner and all of a sudden the pedal loses pressure (almost right to the floor ) and then comes back without changing  braking effort. Its done thisa to me a couple of times now so Sat I'll be going to the dealer.:notice:
