Problems w/Hazards, Signals, and Brake Lights

I'm hoping someone else has experienced this and can point me in the right direction...

Yesterday my hazards stopped working. I know it was yesterday because they worked when I towed the boat on Sunday but not when I wanted to double park on Monday AM.

No prob, I figured it was the flasher relay. But then my turn signals stopped working later in the day. Ok its a combo relay, I guess.

Well, on the way home I notced people having problems keeping a distance when I was stopping (more than usual for the DC area, anyway) so I checked the brake lights and they are not working either.

Everything else seems to work OK (radio, marker lights and head lights, interior accessories, etc.) but my ignition key buzzer stopped working too. Typically there's a chime whenever the key is left in the ignition or the lights are on w/the engine off. The warning chime is no longer working as of this AM.

I replaced the flasher relay to not avail. All fuses appear to be fine. A fuse would not explain the gradual decline of these various systems.

Any ideas on where I should start w/this problem?

IF ALL FUSES WHICH THERE ARE 4 OF THEM AND ONE RELAY ARE GOOD THEN YOU ONLY HAVE ONE CHOISE, THE MULTIFUNCTION SW IN THE STEERING COLUMN, ALL YOU PROBLEMS POINT TO IT

I would be checking the fuses themselves (with a test light or voltmeter) and see if they have voltage on them at all. There may be a master fuse that blew, killing all the voltage to the others. Turn sigs, flashers, and brake lights all point to the multifunction switch, but the key dinger doesn't make sense. That's why I think it's something more basic. Check the fuses under the hood if it has them.

Trailers have a tendency to do this type of stuff sometimes.

Found the problem! It was a defective fuse. Not burnt but not passing current either.

I suspect that the odd failure accounts for the odd behavior w/the signals.

Thanks all!
