Checking For Water...

Recommended Posts

Posted

Went through a couple of streams over the weekend. Was wondering if I needed to check any of the fluids to see if water got in.

The water level went up to the top of my rims.

I know I need to change my diffs. It's about time anyways. Concerned about the transmission and anything else.

Thanks,

Ah yes, the TC. I think I might need to change that also, regardless.

How does water get into the oil? Is there some sort of vent?

That place is in San Gabriel Valley OHV area in the Angeles National Forest, Southern California.

Thanks,-w
