cdiddy Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Hey guys, took my toolbox off my bed the other day ( the kind that sits over the bed rails ) and the toolbox cracked the top and sides of the bed. The crack is even starting to go down the side of my bed and chip the paint off. I know there is a TSB for this problem but can not find the TSB number. Does anybody have the number for this and has anybody had this problem fixed by the dealer ship. All so is there a way to look up the TSB online???
MS3DALE Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 The TSB number your talking about is 01-08-66-014B. This is the newest one out dated Feb.of this year. Sorry but I'm unable to paste and copy it here directly.

bigdogs Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 I wonder if you could get this TSB done (under warranty) as a preventative measure so it does not crack and cause even more damage???
mcreyaufmiller Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 If you carry a tool box, your dealer may do it for you, depends on your relationship with your dealer. normally, TSB's are only fixed if the customer complains about it.
bigdogs Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 Thanks I'll have to ask. I was figuring it might be cheaper (for them) to do the fix before any problems happen instead of afterwards. Does the TSB cover any body work to repair the crack as well?
