Does DVD player sit in NAV all the time?

I was looking at getting a navigation radio for my envoy but was wondering... does the nav radio only have one dvd/cd slot and will the navigation dvd sit in the radio at all times?

That is correct. One slot. DVD or CD. No internal changer. No stored NAV memory. If you are using NAV you cannot use the CD player. Check out the NAV thread and you'll see how others are installing an external CD changer to avoid the issue.
