Bought airaid intake but filter doesnt look oile

Bought a new airaid intake with filter. Just looked at the filter and it does not look oiled. I assumed it came oiled and my eyes just cannot see the oil or feel it.

 

So do they come oiled and what exact kind of filter comes with it. It looks just like a K&N.

Depends on the kind of filter. Nothing in the instruction sheet or paperwork that came with it indicates one way or the other ?? Got a link or part number for the model you got ??

Is the filter red? The K&N oil is dyed red so you can tell where it has been applied. My Volant was blue when bought but washed up white when I cleaned it.

My Airaid is basically white. Even after oiling it with a K&N recharge kit. The red dye fades. But, better safe than sorry, go get s recharge kit.
