Any boat forums out there?

Anyone know of any good boat forums? I just purchased a 1987 Bass Tracker V-17 with a 75 hp Mariner. Looking for a forum similar to this one for help and advice and such.

Very good boat forum is thehulltruth.com. Generally other boat owners posting there, but some of these folks are very knowledgable, and all of them are helpful.

 

boatsetup.com focuses on boat maintenance and is moderated by boat industry professionals. This one is very helpful and has saved me $$$ over the years.

 

Boat US has a website with a forum and it is good too. Meant for members of Boat US, but they don't ask for a membership number to read or post.

 

Speaking of Boat US, don't know where you will be boating, but towing insurance has saved me a lot of money over the years. Number of companies, Boat US, TowBoatUS, Vessel Assist, probably others. About $100 a year for the insurance, and they come and get you wherever you breakdown. Some have a trailer rider. Typical tow is $400-500 if out of pocket, but this insurance has no deductable. Recommend you look into it.
