Just got back from having my magnaflow muffler and tip installed on my truck...I had magnaflows on my 5.0 stang and on my grand am gt and i hated it....i took your advice here and went with magnaflow on my 04 z71 and WOW i must say the sound is amazing

nice tone at idle and when you stand on it, it comes alive. Cruising is perfect...not too much noise inside

 

The tip is similar to the silverado ss tip but its angle cut with a smaller oval inside

I'm also trying to decide between Magnaflow and Flowmaster. I think I'll like the sound of Flowmaster better, but I also like the fact that Magnaflow is quiet inside the cab.

This is strange i went to there site to see if they had a muffler for a 89 silerado just bein curious cause im flowmaster guy and they didnt have a muffler for my truck or not one i could find.
