Avalanche suggestion

I need some suggestions on what to order for my AV. My wife bought me a FIPK for Xmas and well, I already got one.....oops!

Now I have a "Store credit" of $300+/-

 

Nerf bars?

billet Grill?

bigger torsion nuts?

 

Any suggestions appreciated??

Have you taken care of the exhaust system yet - might want to match the improved air in - might have to add to the credit though.

If it was me, out of those 3 choices, I think I would go with 1) nerf bars, 2) billet grille, 3) then the torsion bars.  (I'm assuming you mean the Hill leveling kit??)

 

Grandolphxx's suggestion of an after market exhaust is good too.

I'd get a dual exhaust on there next.  After that you can get some added height from the leveling kit and some 285's

Wait a minute, his is a Z66.  Do they have torsion bars?  I've never looked under one to see.

Yes, the Z66 have t-bar setups.

 

I'd go with the wheels and tires, but if you can only spend $300, go with the billet grill.

seeing as its a Z66, meaning 2wd and meant for street use, id stay away from cranking your tbars and getting bigger tires which hurt on-road performance.  id go with (from all the suggestions posted here so far):

 

1. cat-back exaust

2. new wheels

3. billet grill (these look awesome on the avy's)

I would go first with the billet grille. Really makes a big difference on the front end.Also not too sure how good nerf bars would look on the Z66 package.Just gotta do what you want or think looks good. Everyone has different tastes.

FIPK is working just fine. Sounds like a big outboard boat when you get your foot into it, LOUD!

I followed up the FIPK with a flowmaster and noticed I lost a bit of power when you 1st romp into it but then it builds up pretty good.
