5.3 automatic shift kit

hey guys i need a shift kit i think my truck runs good and pleanty of pickup but the trany sucks, im shure this might of been talked about before but what can i do to help this thing go. ive noticed that if your getting in it and spinning off the line that the truck will spin its ass off and then shift but losses rpms causing a undesirable run.

i have a 04 seirra and did a full exaust thats free flowing right off the heads and out the back and i also have the hypertech programer witch i think is not very good for this truck but i called hypertech and rased the shift points to 3mph in 1st to 2nd shift, 6mph in 2nd to 3rd shift, and 9mph in 3rd to 4th shift also this means i had to raise the rev limit to 6200rpms all of this is fine but i didnt like the 1st to second shift so i backed everything down 1mph and seems good now.
