Did someone mess with my car?

Came out of the grocery and the stock radio displayed "LOC". Same way it did when I disconnected and reconnected the battery. I was able to unlock it but the clock had to be readjusted. Why was it disconnected? Is this a common glitch or someone tried to boost my car? There was no visible sign. Looked under the hood and everything seemed fine.

I've heard that some people have had an occational problem with losing power for some reason and noticing it because of the clock being wrong.  As a matter of fact, it happened to me once.     Don't know why though.

That used to happen occasionally on my wife's '96 S10 Blazer.  Never found out why or even bothered to have it looked at.  The code we programmed into it always allowed it to be unlocked.  

 

Slightly off subject-but why does GM put that security feature on their stock stereos?  What thief would waste his efforts trying to hook a low-end stock stereo?  They can't be worth that much $$ on the street market.   :ehh:  Go figure.

hill back in the early 90's my grandpas 83 S-10 got stolen.  Guess what they wanted? The cap and the stereo (cheap one i wouldnt put on my bike).
