Roof Clearance lights on Z71

How do people feel about roof clearance light on a 04 Black Extended Cab Z71 Silverado 1500? I really like them, but am afraid they wouldn't look right on 1500?I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or pics on this. Thanks, guys.

A lot of people put them on. Personally I think it looks pretty backwoods.

I like them on a 3500 though.

ive seen a few on 1500s and some look good others well not so but if it were me i would look for the smoked lights so they will blend into the black truck a lil better till

ill look for the site that makes them but im sure u can find them on ebay for a good price

Looking backwoods or not isn't the issue. It is a TRUCK. In my case, I'm in a lot of fog on a regular basis and I want to be seen. Any additional legal illumination is a plus in my opinion.

I think they look OK, I just don't like the new style of one big one in the center, it should be three individual lights...

My buddy was very gung ho for this until after he had it done. Then he thought it looked very redneck, and I had to agree.

Or five. Typically, three in the center, then two outboard ones.

I'm not a fan of the big one in the center, either, although it is three bulbs in a single lens.

I elected to go with the factory design, rather than installing the five lens set, just to keep some consistancy... especially during trade-in time in the future, if that ever happens with this truck. Kinda doubtful with the high gasoline prices---depreciation would probably be rather outrageous in about five years on this rig.

Kinda what I meant, I like the 5 individual, versus 2 on the ends and 3bulbs in one light in the center. But, factory look certainly is nothing knock.
