03 Sierra Extended Cab Question.....

I am posting this for a friend of mine that has a '03 Sierra extended cab. We need to fold down the top (back) part of the rear seat but can't figure out how to do it. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

At least on my 99, On the underside of the seat bottom(the part you sit on) near the passenger side of the vehicle is a black loop. I pull that down and it releases the latch and lets me fold the seat bottom up towards the seat back. As far as I know this is how the backseat in the extended cab operates. I don't think the seat back comes down.

I just noticed you mean the back rest. Can't help you there.

The seatback does not fold down. Only the bottom seat will fold to the seatback. The only way to get the back of the seat down is to unbolt it and take it out.
