Transmission problem???

It looks like i'm gonna have to replace the valve body in my 92 Tahoe, but I'm not sure what model tranny I have. I've narrowed it down to 3 tranny's (all very similar) 700r4, 4l60, or 4l60e.

 

I was told that the 4l60e wasn't used until 93 (officially) but there are a lot of 93 parts on this truck (just like having a lot of 99 parts on my 98 s-15 Jimmy).

 

can anyone tell me a sure-fire way to know which one I have, so I can grab the correct valve body, filter, and gaskets?

numbers on the side of the case are 8663548

700R4 and 4L60 are the same thing. 4L60E is the electronic version of the 700R4/4L60. The easiest way to tell is the 700R/4L60 has a “tv cable” that runs from the throttle linkage to the transmission. The 4L60E does not have one.
