Fuel Cleaner use on a routine basis

GM-Tech assuming one burns top-tier gasoline 80-90% of the time is there a need to use a fuel system cleaner to maintain a clean system free of deposits ?

New motors 4.8L 04' Tahoe, 3.4L 05 Equinox 12K and 7K respectively.

As I understand it....

Routine use of Fuel system cleaners on a frequent basis CAN infact have an adverse effect on cars...

I.E. since the fuel pump is in the tank, to concentrated of a formula can eat the windings, and create an issue with the plugs....

So using a techron or 3M fuel system cleaner , or GM's top engine cleaner, or Amsoil's Performance Improver could be useful, but not too frequently right ?

Techron every 3-5,000 miles at the most. You wouldn't add Top Engine Cleaner to the fuel tank. I don't know about those aftermarket products.

I have never used a fuel cleaner in any vehicle I've owned and have had no problems

All gasoline sold in the US has a cleaner per government regulations, Texaco adds Techron which is a synthetic cleaner. I also dont add cleaners, but I dont think adding a bottle of Techron every 3k would be bad. I recently checked the throttle body on my truck and it was spotless, but who knows about the injectors, you cant see them without removing them.
