Electrical bug, or Battery

Okay, this is the second TB for us, and now, the second time for the same problem. Radio clock resets itself to 1200, and the turn signals malfunction ramdomly. When we traded the `02 TB in, I noticed the battery had exploded. Well, had no problems till now. So, the AC Delco in the TB is 4 months old, pulled from my `05 Sierra. Positve battery terminal failure, yet again? Or do I need to look further?

If terminals tightened too tight can cause battery to leak and fail. Sometime you can't see leak till you remove battery.

Well, I looked at the battery posts, and they are cokmpletely dry. No liquid of any kind. No trail down the side of the batterty either.

Well, update. Dealer replaced the hazard flasher, as it was malfunctoning. Second, alrm installed incorrectly.- 2 yrs ago. Kinda wonder about this one. And now, an odd engine noise on cold startup. Dealer is looking into that in the AM.
