DIC Buttons

I have an 03 2500HD LT with the radio/DIC buttons on the steering wheel.

 

A couple of the buttons have gone dark --- is there an easy way to replace the lamps?

are you talking about the steering wheel controls? if so they are pretty cheap to just replace the whole button.

Yep, that's the ones. Do they just pop out, or what? Didn't want to get too aggressive and farkle up the operation.

Try using this link that shows pics of wheel change. It shows how to change the buttons. Should be able to help you out.

Just use a butter knife to pop them out. Be careful not to pull on them once they are free because the leads are pretty short. They have a part number engraved on them (begins with 99) so go to www.gmpartsdirect.com for pricing.
