Hey guys i have a 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 w/ the 5.3L and want to put an aftermarket system on it, i don't want a loud system, i want a system that is as close to stock quite during cruising and normal driving, but gets mean when i really get into it

Many here will have their preferences as do I. I had a Flowmaster 50 Series Big Block installed with 18x3" chrome tips straight out. It has a nice rumble at idle without an annoying drone at highway speeds. You can tell it's not stock, but it's not annoying. Just today, I took mine in for the annual inspection and I could tell it apart from the 6 other vehicles in the bay when it was started up. Just my $.02
