10 Worst Vehicles for 2005

If you didn't see they Spies choices for the worst cars of 2005, here they are again:

10. Buick Lucerne-Kissing your sister is a 'sizzling' experience compared to this exercise in boredom.

9. Jeep Cherokee- After seeing all those gorgeous groundbreaking concepts at the auto shows teasing us with their design expertise, HOW could they have decided on this, as the final design? The front end could be one of the worst in the business! Bring on the Nitro and BLOW this thing up!

8. Ford Five Hundred- Yuck! Let’s hope it only lasts 500 days on the market!

7. Mitsubishi Galant- The WORST car I’ve ever test driven…more flex than Suzanne Sommer's thigh-master

6. Chevy Impala- Back to the drawing board for the hundredth time! Could it have LESS personality? What an insult to previous proud Impala designs.

5. Cadillac XLR- Or should we call it the Allante II? This thing is deadsville in the marketplace. Looks like a door stop with dual nightlights on it!

4. Acura RL- Feels like the whole car's drive system has been shot with Novocaine. The most over priced car on the mainstream market.

3. Honda Ridgeline- With national leases already at $199 per month, this thing (maybe they should have called it, the Honda THING) is sinking fast! Thank GOD!

2. Hummer H3- The Hummer thing is just SOOOOO over. And we predict there is no comeback in sight. Even Steve Jobs couldn’t figure out how to bring this brand back! Sorry Liz...

1. Jeep Commander- Whatever over paid slacker at DCX green lighted this piece of trash, should be removed from his or her command! The only thing missing is the ‘Body designed by YUGO’ on the side panel.

The only one I really question is the Acura. In the past, those have been excellent cars, although I have not driven the new model they describe.

Styling is so bland for the 500 and Impala, as well as the Buick. When I heard about the Jeep Commander, I was very hopeful and excited, but after seeing one, I am VERY disappointed. The Cherokee is not bad, but they went with IFS instead of coil sprung solid front axle and I am very disappointed about that. Jeep is for off road use too and the IFS system is not as capable as a coil sprung front axle.

Now there's somebody who has their head screwed on straight. I agree with all of the choices.

GM should hire this guy.

Meanwhile, it'll be fun to watch these all go down in flames.

Thanks, Elwood!

Yeah, when I heard 7 passenger seating for the Jeep I started expecting to see something Tahoe-sized, not a damn stretched Cherokee Sport. What a waste.

I was very interested in the release of the new Impala. Not very interested now. :D If it was a V8 powered rear drive like the Charger, I may own one already.

I can't say I like the ridgeline at all! That one should be #1 on the list. I wonder what genius at honda decided "hey, we should start building trucks now"

because it's a huge market?

Liquor is a huge market, but you don't see Pepsi Barrell proof in your Liqour store or bar do you?

I know that's not too good of an example, but same basic principal.

Honda's business is Front wheel Drive cars. Just like Pepsi Cola's business is non-alcoholic soda. They should stick to safe waters until they gain better perspective of how Trucks are meant to be built.

...Which is a Moog point, because trucks are meant to be built in AMERICA!:cheers:

hah, Pimp My Ride photo is funny.

I dunno who came up wiht that list. The Caddy XLR is pretty bad looking. I'd definatly drive one of those.
