Hey everyone,

Hey my name is steve and i am new to the site. I have done alot of browsing around and have learned alot, this site is great, but now i finally how a question. I have a 2002 2500HD and i bought and 8 foot plow for it. Now when i have the plow on the truck i seem to get this burning rubber smell. What could that be, could it be that there is to much weight on the tires or a steering or could it be something burning up from all the wieght. Im not really sure what to consider so any help would be great!

thanks

Hello Steve I was wondering, is that smell there anytime the plow is on? Is it when you're using the plow or just driving around with it up?

It seem to be when it is hooked up to the truck, whether or not i am plowing or just driving around with it on. I dont smell anything when the plow is disconnected

Sorry if I led you on Steve, I'm used to answering questions on the net so I just tried to make it easyer for someone who actually knows something about plowing snow by getting a few details. I live well below the snow line.
