washer/wiper problem

Occasionally when I use the washer on my '98 Z, the pump does not

work. At the same time the wipers do not shut off after the normal 5 or 6

wipes. If I turn on the wipers, they may not stop until I turn the ignition

off, or sometimes they will stop but not in the park position. This problem does

not happen very often, but when it does it's aggravating.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you're not getting power and ground to the pump when it's not working, then it's almost certainly the wiper module.

Been there had same problem replaced module all working now but that was in my 1995 GMC 1500
