4L60E Down Shift Problems

I want to put this up front right now,I Know others are having this Problem Driving Them Nuts !!!! I have 1996 GMC 4Wd 305 Votec P/U that wouldn't downshift into Low,Finally got a Trouble Code on Advance Auto Parts Loaner Scanner---CODE# P1886 Manufacturer Contrl Transmission [ 3-2 Downshift Control Solenoid ] Got the Part from Local Parts Store $32.00 and Tranny Now Works Perfect !!!!! The First Shop that I Had this Truck checked at His Snap-On Scanner would not show a Code with this check Engine Light on,Before I replaced this solenoid I Stopped there but He was Too Busy to Hook up and Check Again for a Code,He couldn't Believe a Cheapy HandHeld Scanner Showed that Trouble Code !!!!! I Know Many May Feel I'm Full of You Know What-But that is the Truth, I Can't find His Original Print Out He Gave Me,Also the Tranny Shop I Had it to right before Christmas had the Same No Code Output,He Guessed and Told Me to get a New Computer,Expensive Guess For Me to Purchase !!!! After the Tranny Shop Guess I Replaced the 1-2 & 2-3 Shift Solenoids but No Good and Pressure Control Solenoid No Good !!!! In the Reference Book I Looked this code up in,it tells You to Look for a Wiring Malfunction supplying this Solenoid,but I Decided to Replace it First to Eliminate it as a cause and it Worked !!!!!
