tranny fluid

I have a 04 burb 4x4 5.3 I have 15000 on it and after a 3400 hard miles trip I just checked the T. Fluid and it seems down almost a qt or to the add mark. Is that normal.

Ive been checking it since Ive had it with no loss before.

It is not normal to loose tranny fluid. It has to go somewhere and if you have no leak, it is probably ok. Make sure you are checking it in the same level spot with the engine and trans fully up to temp. I get a significant difference when I measure hot versus cold.
