Transmission Slipping

My transmission in my 2000 Silverado 5.3 started slipping and its getting worse. When I go to take off from a stop it feels as if the motor isn't in gear all the way and it will finally hook up and jerk a little bit. the 1-2 upshift is the worst and all other gears appear to be normal. It does slip out of o/d sometimes while cruising on the highway. I don't know if this has anything to do with my 20" rims but I have had them on for over a year now. Any help is greatly appreciated.

mine slips out of OD as well when its hot out. <sigh> you will notice that there are a few others on here with transmission problems, and that number seems to be growing...
