TB blade and diffuser mod

Ok ive been reading post about how the older trucks TB didnt open all the way. Now i have a 02 avalanche and know that it is a drive by wire type. I was just wondering if they open all the way when depressing the pedal to the floor. If not is there a way to make them open all the way. Also how do you get this so called diffuser off the throttle body blade. Does anyone have like directions to do it and is it hard. thanks for the help
