Warning: Front end problems already.

I have had front end alignment problems since I had 15,000 miles on the truck.. Shops told me the pittman and idler were bad.I checked and felt the play myself.Went to dealer and they said all is fine, then charged my for an alignment.

I now have 28,000 miles and front end feels worse. Still pulls hard to the right.. I go back to the shop and they say the two arms are worse and tie-rod ends getting lose.. I decided to just change the parts and not go back to the dealer. Yes, it cost me a couple of hundred but I know it will be right..

Anyway, My point is that GM requires the front end to be lubed every oil change.. To be honest, I have not done that..Don`t know if it would have matterd or not but I recommend that people might want to keep those parts lubed..It may save you some problems down the road.. I still feel that lubed or not, my front end should not have been going bad at 15,000 miles..

Plz tell me what you replaced and part numbers if you have them.

My truck had alignment problems from day one also.

They wanted to charge me extra cuz they said something had to be broken in order to align it, they screwed up and charged me regular alignment price.

Now, 60k miles later and a new lift, my alignment fixed itself

Id like to replace my parts tho, was it difficult?

Sorry, no part numbers but I replaced the idler arm( Real bad shape), pittman arm (pit arm only a little worn) and the passenger tie rod end.. Everything replaced with MOOG parts..Moog parts looked a lot beefier.. Truck feels way better and I am going in for alignment next week.

Dihappy, Ditto on the front end and dealer..Thats why I just sucked it up and paid to fix it right.
