I know this is for trucks, but I have a 99 Gran Prix (3800) GT

With the air on the drivers side blows cold, but the passenger side blows hot. Passenger side (dual Zone) temp. selection shows its working but only blows hot air. Any suggestions>

You might want to try disconnecting the battery again to force the a/c to do a door position relearn. You may have to do this several times until the doors go into the position the a/c control wants to see.

I have this same problem on my 04 Suburban with dual climate control and recently had a dead battery. Driver side cold and passenger side blowing hot air. I've tried disconnecting the battery about 6 times and once it reversed my problem and another time made both sides blow hot. Any suggestions? Like before shutting the a/c down should I have that temp controls set a certain way? I noticed that after leaving battery off for minimum 10 minutes the a/c control always return to 74 degrees.

The temp control goes up and down on the driver side fine but the passenger side blows hot and fan seems to slow down when set at 90 degrees on passenger side but turning down temp on passenger makes the fan blow faster.

Thanks for your help.

Jerry
