Out with the old, in with the new. 56k warning

Some of you guys may remember me, I used to post regularly on the forum for a while. As of late, if somehow become more of a lurker with the exception of an occasional post.

 

Two weeks ago I traded in my 1999 Silverado Z71 for a 2005 2500HD LT 4X4 Duramax Crew Cab. I've been busy with midterms and papers, but figured I'd post a few pics.

 

As for the new truck, I've installed the toolbox from the old truck, and will soon be adding Escalalde Handles inside and out. I might top it off with a billet grille, but I have decided yet. I will, however, not be doing the extensive modding that I had done with the old truck. I had done things such as the a 03+ mirror retrofit and other custom jobs that over the course of having the truck, seemed to eventually cause other things to go wrong and not function properly.

Thanks for the comments guys. I've already added the Escalade Handles inside and out as well as a billet grille and chrome tailgate handle w/ painted bezel.

I noticed that your old truck had the Westin bull bar w/ the lights. May I ask what the

name of the style that one is and how you were able to get it installed w/out removing the front tow hooks?

On the Westin site, it says that for bull bars like the Ultimate, you need to remove them,

but I see that you still had them. Did you have to fab up some mounting brackets for

them or can they use the supplied hardware?

Nice truck. Too bad you didn't get the 06, those haul balls, they are able to change gears around 4500-5000 rpm now.
