clunk on drivers's side 2000 GMC Jimmy

I have a 2000 GMC Jimmy that I just had all four ball joints replaced and still have this clunk when driving over bumps or pulling into the small bunp at the end of the driveway. Any suggestions? How can I isolate the noise without driving it?

Also the hood washer repair was done a couple years ago when we had a noise then and the hood still seems tight, dor bushings and pin have been repalced as well.

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

Condition/Concern:

Clunk noise that can be felt through the floor pan on right or left turns, or on uneven road surfaces

Recommendation/Instructions:

Inspect for witness marks from the torsion bar crossmember contacting the frame rails. If the torsion bar crossmember is contacting the frame rails, loosen the bolt through the frame to the crossmember hanger. It is important to support the crossmember with the torsion bar loading/unloading tool J 36202. Then install three 1/8" (3.2 mm) alignment shims and tighten the bolt. Repeat procedure on the other side. It may be necessary to tap in the third shim with a hammer and then tighten the bolt. This procedure will help isolate the crossmember from thumping the frame on flexing manuevers.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance. This diagnostic approach was developed for the vehicle with the VIN you entered and should not be automatically be used for other vehicles with similar symptoms.
