Lift Options 2005 Chevy 1500 Crew Cab Z71

I am looking for information regarding a 3 to 4 inch lift system for my 2005 Chevy Z71 1500 Crew Cab. I want a bolt on kit that does not require cutting or welding. It will be used primarily on the street.

 

Any suggestions? Can a do it yourselfer install it? What size tires will I be able to run without rubbing?

 

I welcome all comments and suggestions.

Body lift, with a T-Bar crank you're looking at about maybe 450 for the lift if you do it yourself, which is possible if you have a good selection of tools (air tools help a ton) and you should be able to run a 315/75/16 with out any major rubbing.

so far i have heard nothing but good stuff with the skyjacker 3" suspension lift for our trucks...i am gonna get one sooner than later!

The only true bolt on kit where you have to cut nothing is the new rough country 4" or 6" ex kits.
