Temperature Sensor?

I am still having problems with cold start oil pressure going to 0. When the my '01 yukon 5.3L is at normal operating temp. the oil pressure stays up @ idle with no problem. As I recall, every truck I have owned idles @ 200-300rpms higher at cold start until the temp gets to operating level and then idles around 500 rpm's. Does anyone know of a temp. sensor that controls the idle speed? That is the only thing I think I could change to help this problem, or is it possible to program the computer to idle @ 700 rpm's until warm? Thanks in advance...
