Good sounding muffler??

I have a new 06 4x4,4.8 auto. Any one have a different muffler that sounds better without losing low end power. There is a fella around here with a single camber race flow dumped that sounds awesome,but he is 5.3. Haven't disscussed power with him because he practically went from dealer to muffleer shop. He probably didn't notice any lose or gain. Thanks for any input. I'll throw a K&N drop in filter this week so that may help.

I have a 4.8 but she is still stock for now. I plan on getting a Zoomers exhaust next year for her. I'm sure some body here will chime in eventually who already has an after market muffler on 4.8.

I still have stock on mine, but I've heard borlas and Corsas on many cars. spendy, but awesome sound. when (if) I get up the ante to do it, will probably look for a good pair of borlas myself.

 

flowmaster 40's/50's seem to be popular though and they worked great with my buddys 4.7 jeep.
