antenna upgrade?

I can't pick up my favorite radio station half the time! and it a measly 20 miles away! It gotta be my antenna, our other cars don't have as bad a problem. Any of you heard of a cheap upgrade?

Im with you, i had minor problems with my antanae, but opted for XM radio

Is it the factory radio? Those things can't pick up anything. A different antenna won't help you much, check the connections of the one you have. Might be loose or rusty.

I had a few instances of poor reception on my '99 Sierra - usually intermittent static on AM.  An occasional loosen - reseat - retighten of the antenna with a wrench did the job.

radio is not stock, it is a Kenwood CD unit.
