20 Amp Circuit

I need to find a circuit with 20 amp capacity to wire up some auxilary lights. I'd like it to be as clean as possible. Any advice?

Also, does anyone have the pinouts for the different connectors in the 2003+ MBEC?

Im no wiring expert but . Your gonna have to run a 4 or 6 guage lead direct from the battery. Run it into a relay. Then to the lights. Then you can run the wires for the switches thru the relay. Try looking at some off roading sites and find a wiring kit It be your best bet.

I just added a set of Warn lights to my truck last week. I used SoCalChris's info on the MID BEC. In the SEO location they are maked A thru F. I used pin C for power to switch. Pin F for ground to switch. I just put a 1/8'' female connector on wire ends ran them into the seo connector and pluged them in. ran load wire from switch thru 1.1/2'' rubber grommet in the firewall just below the main wiring harness grommet, this will come out below the mastercylinder. I got my power to my relay from the red remote power box under the hood,mounted my relay on firewall next to the mastercylinder. This keeps things very clean looking

Yes thats it. They fit real good I dont even think their will be an issue with them coming off, But I did leave some slack at the connection and wire tied them to some existing wires.

You can either use those connectors, or if you want the factory connector, it is part #15306107, and costs around $45 from the dealer. I went with the factory connector, simply because I was tired of spending my time messing around with trying to find something that fit right

I'm glad that info was able to help someone else, I had a heck of a time finding it myself. I found it on some other diesel forum, but I can't rememebr the name of it.

Does that Part# include the little pins inside the connector also?

Also, can someone do a quick sanity check on my wiring diagram?

Intended results:

Putting truck in reverse = OEM and Aux reverse lamps come on.

Turning on Cargo Lamps = OEM Cargo Lamps, Aux Cargo Lamps and Aux reverse lamps come on.

This is the connector I ended up using. Worked perfect! I was close to going the dealer route and getting the right connector, but I just couldn't see spending more for the plastic connector than I did for the stuff I was hooking up.
