4x4 engaged.. slipping, sliding

I pulled off my drive way to elt another car go down today and shifted into four wheel drive. My rear wheels just spun.. It seemed as if my front wheels werent pulling at all. I have a manual transfer case and could hear the hubs lock.. or it seemed thats what it was doing. The little light came on. Nothing out of the ordinary until the truck wouldnt move. I even took it over to a hill I have climbed in the past with no effort at all. I shifted in to 4H and nothing.. 4L and nothing.. just spinning my rear tires..

Now my truck was in a good sized wreck that caused the right front suspension and axle to be replaced. not to mention... ahem.. the frame.. what is the deal.. any thoughts? :chevy:

Ok.. I just went down a hill.. I put it in 4L and it went down as if it wasnt in 4L at all.. that gear like a tank. Im wondering if my transfer case isnt engaging right. Im also thinking, maybe those idiots at the body shop put the wrong axle on??? any suggestions?

Sounds busted. Make sure your insurance company is in the loop as you go about solving the mystery.
