Tow/hall shift knob

Does anyone make a smaller tow/hall shift knob for the end of the gear lever?  I'm having an in dash LCD screen installed in the truck today and I've noticed with the shifter in park the knob with the tow/hall is right in front of the stock stereo. This is going to be a problem when trying to get the unit to come out.  

 I'm just looking for something shorter.  any help would be much appreciated.

You'd have to cut the whole handle part off.  I don't think you'll find one that short.  It looks like you could just bend it up about 1" and that would clear.  I don't know what's involved in doing that though.  I wouldn't recommend it without talking to someone who knows a lot more than me about what the lever is made of, coated with, contains, etc...
