New Guy with Trans problems

Hey Ya'll

 

Hate to become a new member and bring up a problem right away...but im hoping that somebody can help.

 

So here is whats up... Ive got a 2003 2500HD with just over 35,000 miles. A good majority of the miles are highway miles as i drive all over for work. This is a truck provided to me from work. Anyway about two weeks ago made a trip down to missouri and ever since it feels like my transmission is slipping. It seems to do it at all different cruising speeds. i doesnt slip shifting gears. I dont know if it is slipping or if im imagining it, but it sure doesnt feel right.

 

The truck like i said only hase 35,500 miles on it and has only pulled a trailer since ive had it, maybe a dozen times. and the trailers werent heavy trailers by any means. Not much of a load on the truck. And whenever ive pulled a trailer ive always towed with the tow button on.

 

Anyway if anybody has some insight it would be great. Thanks a bunch and i look foward to using this forum.

Welcome to the sight. If you are still in warranty then take it to the dealer. Otherwise I have no insight for you, but you find some help here.

What makes you think it's slipping? Is the tachometer all over the place while you cruise at a steady 55 mph?
