Spark Plugs

Stick with the AC/Delco brand, nothing wrong with them at all, you can go with the Plats or the iridiums or if you don't mind changing your plugs every 30,000 miles, the RapidFires are great plugs. Most people on here use either the Iridiums (I tried them, had a bad idle problem with them) or the Plats.

Thanks for the advice, I was going to change them today, but the plug wires are glued to the spark plug and I don't want them to tear apart. What is the gap that i should put the spark plugs at. Rick

You'll want to replace the wires now or at 100,000 miles. As for the gap for the Iridiums and Plats, you shouldn't have to adjust them they should come in the box set at what we need. For the Rapidfires, I am not sure.

I am in the process of changing the plugs. I got the Iridiums, but the plugs wires are really giving me a hard time, they are stuck to the plug. How can i loose them up. Rick

Twist them back and forth while pulling on them. If you can't get them off there is a tool made for removing them.

What are the plug gaps for the Rapid Fires? I bought an 8 pack at autozone. I heard they are pre-gapped, but does that go for all engines? Just want to double check before I stick them all in.

How do you like the Bosch Plat+4's? The reason I ask is that I have a set and I'm getting ready to put them in. Just wondering.
