switching teams

Well my father finally saw the light, He's owned 3 dodge trucks since 94 when they first came out with the new body style and finally after driving my chevy a few times over the last 4 months he's decided to switch teams. He's dealing with the dealer today on a Black 2000 4 door GMC Sierra SLE, with 36,000 miles. the truck has the 5.3 engine like mine with a gas strut tanneau cover, Ventshade rain quards, bug deflector (low profile ) and Lighted sun visor. Did I mention this is a stepside body. Very attractive truck, I'll take some pictures of it when he get's it home.

I don't think I'll be able to convince him to join the board but I'll take the switch to GMC and be happy with that. I think he will thank me everytime he fills up his truck with gas because his Reg cab Dodge with the 318 was only getting about 12 mpg. He will certainly do better then that with this truck. All interstate driving and now with the Tonneau coever he should be able to see around 15+
